I was in the chorus for this production with the Arkansas Symphony...I ve been trying to get my hands on the recorded copy. It s hard to fully appreciate an opus and the effect(s) of the narration, even when read by the noted William Shatner, when you are only privy to focusing on your vocal part. A Perfect Performance: This Type of Work is Made for Shatner - I have listened to the CD a number of times now and I believe that this type of work is made for Bill Shatner. His reading in the Shatner style of clear enunciation and pronunciation with his dramaticism and the powerful music accompaniment elicits a profound appreciation for God and His Bible. I think Bill should do this for other stories in the Bible. He knows where to put the emphasis on words and how to dramatize and make the Bible come to life straight from his own lips. One does not need to watch a video of this, for the words and the music create the scenes and convey the emotions straight from the CD into your ears. It is awesome! He WILL need to do this for other stories in the Bible. He WILL be disappointed if he does not and he WILL disappoint me if he does not use this gift that God has given him.
